[origin: EP0542050A1] The invention provides a fitting for wings, which can pivot or swing inwards or outwards through 180 DEG , of windows, in which the wing (2), at one end (4), can be pivoted and is displaceably guided in lateral rails (8) of the frame (1) and, when it moves, is carried and guided by lateral scissors arrangements (10) arranged in the rebate (20). The scissors arrangement (10), which is composed of a support arm (11), articulated centrally on the wing (2), and two bearing and guide arms (12, 13) bearing said support arm, are designed and arranged such that, in the closed position of the wing (2), all the arms (11, 12, 13) of each scissors arrangement (10), from their articulation points on the frame onwards, are located on that half of the wing (2) directed away from the displaceable pivot or swing axis (4a) of the wing. <IMAGE>
