Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to a method and a device for mixing fluids, in which method the mixing of fluids takes place in a mainly cylindrical mixing vessel by means of a revolving mixing element disposed therein. The invention is characterised by the observation that the most effective manner of maintaining the homogeneity of the settling fluid consists in keeping the flow direction in the vessel as vertical as possible. This is ensured by the agitator shaft having attached thereto paddles/blades (26) by means of which the flow in the vessel is kept columnar at the central section as far as the mixing element (32), which deflects the axial flow via a radial flow into a rising annular flow. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und einen Apparat zur Vermischung von Fluiden, bei welchem Verfahren die Vermischung von Fluiden in einem hauptsächlich zylindrischen Mischbehälter mittels eines darin angeordneten umlaufenden Mischorgans erfolgt. Die Erfindung wird durch die Beobachtung gekennzeichnet, daß die effektivste Weise, das sich absetzende Fluid homogen zu halten darin besteht, die Strömungsrichtung im Behälter möglichst senkrecht zu halten. Dies wird dadurch gewährleistet, daß an der Mischwerkswelle Schaufeln/Blätter (26) befestigt werden, womit die Strömung im Behälter am mitteleren Teil bis zum Mischorgan (32) hin säulenförmig gehalten wird, was die axiale Strömung über Radialströmung in eine ansteigende Ringströmung umlenkt. <IMAGE>
