Abstract (en)
A rail for supplying current to mobile electrical appliances, having a current pick-off which can be moved along the rail, consists of a metal profile (1) having an open cross-section and of an essentially U-shaped insulating profile (2) which holds the metal profile (1) and consists of plastic. The metal profile (1) has a sliding surface (4) between the two U-flanges (3) of the insulating profile (2), and a connector connecting surface (6) in a rail longitudinal cavity (5) on the side facing away from the sliding surface (4). According to the invention, the insulating profile (2) which is extruded onto the metal profile (1) is composed of a different plastic (7), especially polyethylene, from the rest of the insulating profile (which consists especially of hard polyvinyl chloride) in the region of the sliding surface (4) and/or of the connector connecting surface (6). The polyethylene strips (7) in the region of the sliding surface (4) and of the connector connecting surface (6) can be relatively easily removed. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Eine Stromschiene für die Stromversorgung von beweglichen Stromverbrauchern mit längs der Stromschiene verfahrbarem Stromabnehmer besteht aus einem einen offenen Querschnitt aufweisenden Metallprofil (1) und einem das Metallprofil (1) aufnehmenden, im wesentlichen U-förmigen Isolierprofil (2) aus Kunststoff. Das Metallprofil (1) weist zwischen den beiden U-Flanschen (3) des Isolierprofils (2) eine Schleiffläche (4) und auf der der Schleiffläche (4) abgewandten Seite in einem Schienenlängshohlraum (5) eine Verbinderanschlußfläche (6) auf. Erfindungsgemäß ist das auf das Metallprofil (1) aufextrudierte Isolierprofil (2) im Bereich der Schleiffläche (4) und/oder der Verbinderanschlußfläche (6) aus einem anderen Kunststoff (7), insbesondere Polyäthylen, als das übrige Isolierprofil aufgebaut, das insbesondere aus Hartpolyvinylchlorid besteht. Die Polyäthylenstreifen (7) im Bereich der Schleiffläche (4) und der Verbinderanschlußfläche (6) können verhältnismäßig leicht entfernt werden. <IMAGE>
