A showstand, having a plurality of supports arranged one above the other and/or adjacently, on which the articles to be displaced are placed, is to be constructed in such a way that it is possible to show a plurality of display items simultaneously although these display items have a relatively large weight. For this purpose, provision is made according to the invention for the show stand to consist of a plurality of individual, horizontally and/or vertically arranged square panels which are arranged adjacently or vertically one above the other in such a way that, in the respective view (plan view or lateral view), the edges of the square panels adjoin one another so as to fill the area, the individual panels being supported in the horizontal position with mutual vertical spacing by supports which are variable in height.

Ein Schauständer mit mehreren übereinander und/oder nebeneinander angeordneten Trägern, auf denen die zur Schau zu stellenden Gegenstände aufstellbar sind, soll so ausgebildet werden, daß es möglich ist, mehrere Schaustücke gleichzeitig zu zeigen, obowhl diese Schaustücke ein relativ großes Gewicht haben. Hierzu ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, daß der Schauständer aus mehreren einzelnen horizontal und/oder vertikal angeordneten quadratischen Platten besteht, die neben- oder senkrecht übereinander so angeordnet sind, daß in der jeweiligen Ansicht (Draufsicht oder Seitenansicht) die Kanten der quadratischen Platten flächenfüllend aneinander anschließen, wobei die einzelnen Platten in horizontaler Lage im Höhenabstand zueinander durch in ihrer Höhe variable Stützen getragen werden. <IMAGE>
