The medical furniture (1) described which has, in particular, a cushioned support surface, is used as a support for the patient during treatment. It comprises a frame (3) and at least one support part (2), the support part (2) being fastened on the frame (3) by means of at least one connecting structure (6, 8). According to the invention, it is characterised in that the connecting structure comprises a peg and socket design (6, 8) in which the peg (6) engages with the socket (8) positively, non-positively or positively and non-positively so as to be secured against unintentional release. <IMAGE>

Das beschriebene medizinische Möbel (1) mit insbesondere gepolsterter Abstützfläche dient als Auflage für den Patienten während der Behandlung. Es umfaßt ein Gestell (3) und wenigstens ein Abstützteil (2), wobei das Abstützteil (2) mittels wenigstens einer Verbindungskonstruktion (6, 8) an dem Gestell (3) befestigt ist. Es kennzeichnet sich erfindungsgemäß dadurch, daß die Verbindungskonstruktion aus einer Zapfen-Buchsen-Ausbildung (6, 8) besteht, bei der der Zapfen (6) mit der Buchse (8) gegen unbeabsichtigte Lösung formschlüssig, kraftschlüssig oder kraftformschlüssig in Eingriff steht <IMAGE>
