Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0543251A2] An exercise device (10), especially for sling therapy, possesses a roof section (20), e.g. on a stand (12) having vertical standing pipes (14) carrying parallel longitudinal bars (22) at the top. Suspension devices (50; 59) can be displaced, offset and/or pivoted parallel thereto such that the suspension points (P) lie perpendicularly above the sling (S) in question. A pivoting gallows (40) is hinged on a hanging rod (24) and has a support rod (46) with a sliding sleeve (48). The support and sliding sleeves (30, 48, 80, 98, 104) can receive connecting parts lockable with a plug-in coupling (54), for example freely rotatable swivel rings (59). A fixator rod (60) with a displaceable and fixable fixation carrier (70) engages with a sleeve (66) over a longitudinal bar (22) and stands on a foot (62) whose height can be adjusted. A frame (70) holds deflecting rollers (85) on a standing pipe (14), as well as a vertical guide (H, 83) for an insertion gallows 84, a weight slide (86, 87) or the like with a roller carrier (80) which can be displaced upwards and downwards and can be fixed. A telescopic spring support (91) which can be coupled, for example, to a longitudinal bar (22) and has a self-inhibiting fixing device (95) possesses at least one ring loop (94) on the side and a flexible support part (99, 100) at the bottom.
