[origin: EP0543389A1] In a self-propelled agricultural tractor with three axles and with extra wide tyres and a vehicle frame whose width is considerably smaller than the width of spacing on an axle, rear axle (6) and centre axle (3) have steered outer wheels (7, 8, 4, 5) and are coupled to a mechanical drive device (20); the device holding frame (12) is constructed as a central tubular frame, extends continuously from one area in front of the centre wheels (4, 5) as far as over the rear wheels (7, 8) and is connected to the centre axle (3) so as to be capable of swivelling by means of a horizontal transverse bearing (14); the horizontal transverse bearing (14) is arranged above and in front of the centre axle (3) and is permanently connected to the device holding frame (12). In a modified embodiment, centre axle and rear axle (3, 6) are connected to the device holding frame (12) in an articulated and swivellable fashion in such a way that one axle is lowered and the other axle is positively raised. <IMAGE>
