[origin: EP0543702A1] The device for marking electrical cables or ducts (9) is constituted by a flexible strip (1), each end of which includes a member (2,3) for connecting it to the other end when the strip (1) is placed around the cable (9); the strip (1) comprises a central part (4) in the form of a support plate for a marking symbol and two lateral tabs (5,6) equipped at their free end with the connection members (2,3), the plate (4) being connected to each of the lateral tabs (5,6) via a portion of a low partition wall (7,8) perpendicular to the plate and to the tabs, and comprising at least one rib (12,13) projecting from its lower face. <IMAGE>
