Abstract (en)
The bending press has a bar- or beam-shaped ram (11), which is connected at both ends, in articulated fashion, to the piston rod (18) of a power cylinder (19). To transmit the press force from the piston rod to the ram (11), a hinge-like butt-joint connection is provided, this butt-joint connection being formed by a double joint (23) with two butt joints (24, 26; 25, 26) situated in series as regards their action. This measure makes possible play-free driving of the ram and, at the same time, a higher tolerance as regards the parallelism of the piston rods (18). In addition, it is also possible, under the same preconditions, to achieve tilting of the ram (11) at a relatively large angle of inclination during operation. <IMAGE>

Die Abkantpresse besitzt einen balken- oder wangenförmigen Stössel (11), welcher an seinen beiden Enden je mit der Kolbenstange (18) eines Kraftzylinders (19) gelenkig verbunden ist. Zur Übertragung der Presskraft von der Kolbenstange auf den Stössel (11) ist eine gelenkartige Stossverbindung vorgesehen, welche durch ein Doppelgelenk (23) mit zwei wirkungsmässig in Reihe liegenden Stossgelenken (24, 26; 25, 26) gebildet ist. Durch diese Massnahme wird ein spielfreier Stösselantrieb und zugleich eine höhere Toleranz in bezug auf die Parallelität der Kolbenstangen (18) ermöglicht. Ausserdem ist unter den gleichen Voraussetzungen eine betriebsmässige Schrägstellung des Stössels (11) mit verhältnismässig grossem Neigungswinkel erreichbar. <IMAGE>
