[origin: EP0544125A2] To create highly turbulent air jets, an air outlet is proposed, which consists of a rotationally symmetrical housing (1) and an air guide element (5) arranged height-adjustably coaxially therein. An outlet part (3) of the housing (1), which is widened in the direction of flow, defines with a baffle plate (10) an annular outlet cross-section. According to the position of the air guide element (5) equipped with swirl vanes (9) in relation to the baffle plate (10), the highly turbulent air jets enter the room in a radial or axial or to a greater or lesser extent oblique blow-out direction. <IMAGE>
