[origin: WO9203268A1] In order to produce plate-shaped bodies made of a mixture of plaster and fibrous materials, first a mat is produced in a known manner by spreading a wet mixture of plaster and fibres. The mat is then compressed in a first press (1) until a raw plate is obtained. This raw plate is transported through a subsequent wetting station (7) in which water is again applied to the top and bottom faces of the raw plate. The subsequently wetted raw plate is again compressed in a second press (9). The plates obtained after setting and drying have a considerably higher solidity than known staff plates.

Lors de la production de corps plats composés d'un mélange de plâtre et de matières fibreuses, on produit premièrement de manière connue un mat par épandage d'un mélange humide de plâtre et de fibres, qui est ensuite compacté dans une première presse (1) jusqu'à former une plaque brute. Cette plaque brute passe ensuite par un poste d'humectage ultérieur (7), qui applique à nouveau de l'eau aussi bien à la face supérieure qu'à la face inférieure de la plaque brute. La plaque brute ainsi humectée à nouveau est recompactée dans une deuxième presse (9). Les plaques ainsi obtenues, après la prise et le séchage, se caractérisent par une résistance considérablement supérieure à celle de plaques connues en staff.
