[origin: EP0545045A1] A built-in ceiling lamp (10B) has a reflector (12) which accommodates an illuminant (13). Said reflector (12) can be positioned with its light exit opening (14) in the front face (22) of a building ceiling (21), for example, and can be accommodated, together with a feed housing (26) held on its side averted from the light exit opening (14) in a ceiling cavity (11B) and locked there by means of a holder (23). A clear installed height (H2) which is only small is achieved by using a hinge (25) to pivot the feed housing (26) movably on the reflector (12) or on the holder (23) thereof. <IMAGE>
