The press roll (4) for applying adhesive tape (8) dispensed from an adhesive tape dispenser (1) to a substrate (9) is fastened so as to be rotatable about a spindle (3) on the housing (2) of the adhesive tape dispenser (1). It has a cylindrical rotary body (5) on which the adhesive tape (8) to be dispensed lies along a contact region. On both sides of this contact region, there are provided supporting elements (6, 7) which are supported on the spindle (3) of the rotary body (5) or on the housing (2) of the adhesive tape dispenser (1) and, during application of the adhesive tape (8), when a predetermined maximum contact pressure of the rotary body (5) against the adhesive tape (8) is reached, come, with supporting surfaces (20) attached to them, into supporting contact with the surface of the substrate (9). <IMAGE>

Die Andruckrolle (4) für ein von einem Klebebandspender (1) abgegebenes Klebeband (8) zu dessen Auftrag auf ein Substrat (9) ist um eine Drehachse (3) verdrehbar am Gehäuse (2) des Klebebandspenders (1) befestigt. Sie weist einen zylindrischen Drehkörper (5) auf, an dem das abzugebende Klebeband (8) längs eines Anlagebereiches anliegt. Beidseits dieses Anlagebereiches sind auf der Drehachse (3) des Drehkörpers (5) bzw. am Gehäuse (2) des Klebebandspenders (1) abgestützte Stützelemente (6, 7) vorgesehen, die beim Auftragen des Klebebandes (8) bei Erreichen eines vorgegebenen maximalen Anpreßdrucks des Drehkörpers (5) gegen das Klebeband (8) mit an ihnen angebrachten Stützflächen (20) auf der Oberfläche des Substrates (9) zur Stützanlage kommen. <IMAGE>
