[origin: EP0545424A1] The invention relates to a crescent-less internal-gear pump having a ring gear (6) and a pinion (5) meshing with the ring gear (6) which are rotatably supported in a jointly supported casing section (1) whose axial extent corresponds to the width of the gearing (12) of the ring gear (6) and the pinion (5) and which has a suction connection (7) and a discharge connection (10), the ring gear (6) having radial openings (17) for the medium to be pumped, and there being set, in the tooth tips (14) of the ring gear (6) and in the tooth tips (13) of the pinion (5), one sealing element (30) in each case which is radially movable in an appropriately shaped profiled groove (34) and which can slide on the opposite tooth tip of the pinion (5) and of the ring gear (6). The invention is characterised in that the sealing element is dimensioned in such a way in the region of the sliding surface that it occupies the entire tip face of the tooth tip of the ring gear and of the pinion. <IMAGE>
