[origin: EP0545745A1] The switching device according to the invention comprises, housed in the same casing, at least one breaker provided with at least one fixed contact element and with one cooperating moving contact element acted upon by a moving rig, and a control member (6) connected to the moving rig of the breaker, by way of a mechanical link including a disengageable coupling (10, 12) capable of passing to the disengaged position during the outward stroke of the control member (6), when the resistive load exerted by the moving rig (2) rises above a specified threshold, and in then passing back to the engaged position during the return stroke of the control member (6). The invention applies in particular to the signalling of the transient phases of the passing of the device to the open or closed state. <IMAGE>
