Expansion bottle for circuit intended for circulation, substantially under atmospheric pressure, of a fluid which can at least partly pass from the liquid state to the gaseous state and vice versa, characterised in that it comprises, at its upper end, an air-permeable membrane (23) which is substantially impermeable to the vapour of the said fluid, the only passage possible normally between inside the expansion bottle and the external atmosphere taking place through the membrane. Vase d'expansion pour un circuit destiné à la circulation, sensiblement sous la pression atmosphérique, d'un fluide qui peut passer au moins en partie de l'état liquide à l'état gazeux et inversement, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend à sa partie supérieure une membrane (23) perméable à l'air et sensiblement imperméable à la vapeur dudit fluide, le seul passage possible normalement entre l'intérieur du vase d'expansion et l'atmosphère extérieure s'effectuant à travers la membrane.
