[origin: FR2678678A1] An adjustment device consisting of at least one drill string element (40) rigidly secured in rotation to the drill string in the region of the drilling tool. The element (40) comprises portions (41, 43, 46) of which the outer bearing surfaces are arranged along a cylindrical surface which is substantially coaxial with the drill string (48) and has a diameter substantially equal to the nominal diameter of the hole (4). Said portions are arranged around the axis so as to generate, during part of the drill string rotation, and by reaction on the element (40) of the wall of the hole (4), tipping forces urging the drilling tool out of the drilling plane. The bearing portions (45,46) may partially consist of variable-diameter movable blades.

Le dispositif de réglage est constitué par au moins un élément de train de tiges (40) solidaire en rotation du train de tiges de forage et fixé sur le train de tiges au voisinage de l'outil de foage. L'élément (40) comporte des parties (41, 43, 46) dont les surfaces externes d'appui sont disposées suivant une surface cylindrique ayant pour axe sensiblement l'axe du train de tiges (48) et pour diamètre sensiblement le diamètre nominal du trou (4), réparties autour de l'axe de manière à engendrer, pendant une partie de la rotation du train de tiges, par réaction de la paroi du trou (4) sur l'élément (40), des forces de basculement de l'outil de forage en dehors du plan de forage. Les parties d'appui (45, 46) peuvent être constituées en partie par des lames mobiles à diamètre variable.
