Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0546260A2] The invention relates to a device for longitudinal regulating of a binding element for an Alpine (downhill) ski, particularly a front binding element. The device comprises a baseplate (9) on which are assembled, securely and removably, the base (5) of the binding, a sliding rail integral with the ski along which the baseplate (9) can slide in a longitudinal direction. The baseplate (9) has, moreover, a bolt, for longitudinal positioning, and a control button (10) permitting manoeuvering of the bolt, and accessible on a lateral edge of the baseplate (9). The device comprises, moreover, means for automatically blocking the bolt in its active locking position, as long as voluntary action is not exerted in order to disengage these blocking means. In particular, the housing (41) of the bolt is flared, and the blocking means consist of a finger (58) which interacts with a groove (59). <IMAGE>
