[origin: EP0546265A1] Four lever units (6, 6A; 7, 7A; 8, 8A, 9, 9A) are articulated to the connecting rod arrangement (4, 5) via a common bolt (21). Each lever unit pushes a pusher rod (14, 15, 16, 17) of the punch press. The pusher rods (14, 15, 16, 17) are arranged in a rectangle. As a result of this, considerable eccentric loads can be accommodated and the punch press can be considerably smaller for a given press output. <IMAGE>
