Abstract (en)
The stitching heads (5) which, in a stitching region (C), interact with the supports (2) of a collecting drum (1) supporting the printed products which are to be stitched run along a circular peripheral track. In this arrangement, the stitching heads (5) are guided so that, during the revolution, they retain their substantially perpendicular position. This means that the stitching heads (5) in the stitching region (C) are approximately oriented with the associated support (2), which means that the staples can be driven into the printed product in the most favourable position. The stitching heads (5), on contact with the supports (2), are forced back counter to the action of compression springs (10). As a result, the circumferential track of the stitching heads (5) in the stitching region (C) is somewhat flattened, so that the time during which the stitching heads (5) can interact with the supports (2) for the stitching process is somewhat lengthened. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die in einem Heftbereich (C) mit den die zu heftenden Druckereierzeugnisse tragenden Auflagen (2) einer Sammeltrommel (1) zusammenwirkenden Heftköpfe (5) laufen entlang einer kreisförmigen Umlaufbahn um. Die Heftköpfe (5) sind dabei so geführt, dass sie während des Umlaufens ihre im wesentlichen lotrechte Lage beibehalten. Dies bedeutet, dass die Heftköpfe (5) im Heftbereich (C) etwa mit der zugeordneten Auflage (2) ausgerichtet sind, was bedeutet, dass die Klammern in der günstigsten Lage in die Druckereierzeugnisse eingetrieben werden können. Die Heftköpfe (5) werden beim Zusammentreffen mit den Auflagen (2) entgegen der Wirkung von Druckfedern (10) zurückgedrängt. Dadurch wird die Umlaufbann der Heftköpfe (5) im Heftbereich (C) etwas abgeflacht, so dass die Zeit, während der die Heftköpfe (5) für den Heftvorgang mit den Auflagen (2) zusammenwirken können, etwas verlängert wird. <IMAGE>
