Fastener for sliding windows or sliding doors, with a movable locking part (8) which is arranged on the end face of the sliding wing (1) and which, in the closing position of the sliding wing (1), cooperates with a fixed locking part (14) fastened to the frame (11), in such a way that the locking parts (8 and 14) engage positively one into the other as a result of the displacement of the movable locking part (8). In order to prevent the possibility of opening the fastener forcibly by displacing the locking pin, in the new fastener the fixed locking part (14) is a locking pin (14) which is provided with a head (15) and which, in the closing position of the sliding wing (1), engages through an orifice of a cover rail (4) fastened to the end face of the sliding wing (1), and the movable locking part is a locking shoe (8) which is arranged concealed behind the cover rail (4) and which, by moving into its closing position, engages by means of lateral cheeks (10) behind the head (15) of the locking pin (14). <IMAGE>

Verschluß für Schiebefenster oder -türen, mit einem an der Stirnseite des Schiebeflügels (1) angeordneten beweglichen Schließteil (8), das in Schließstellung des Schiebeflügels (1) mit einem am Rahmen (11) befestigten feststehenden Schließteil (14) derart zusammenwirkt, daß durch Verschieben des beweglichen Schließteils (8) die Schließteile (8 und 14) formschlüssig ineinandergreifen. Um zu verhindern, daß der Verschluß durch Verschieben des Schließzapfens gewaltsam geöffnet werden kann, ist bei dem neuen Verschluß das feststehende schließteil (14) ein mit einem Kopf (15) versehener Schließzapfen (14), der in Schließstellung des Schiebeflügels (1) durch eine Öffnung einer an der Stirnseite des Schiebeflügels (1) befestigten Stulpschiene (4) greift, und das bewegliche Schließteil ist ein hinter der Stulpschiene (4) verdeckt angeordneter Schließschuh (8), der durch Bewegen in seine Schließstellung mit seitlichen Wangen (10) hinter den Kopf (15) des Schließbolzens (14) greift. <IMAGE>
