An article for cleaning and polishing surfaces, pieces of fibre (3) being attached to the outside of a backing (2) of glove-type design, consisting of synthetic fibres, being attached to the backing (2) by one end and projecting freely from the backing (2) by their other end, a plastic film (4) which is largely impermeable to moisture and a surface structure (5) of a fabric, knitted fabric or similar material being attached on the side of the backing (2) facing away from the pieces of fibre (3). <IMAGE>

Einrichtung zum Reinigen und Polieren von Oberflächen, wobei auf der Außenseite eines handschuhartig ausgebildeten Trägers(2) Faserstücke(3) aufgebracht sind, die aus Kunststoffasern bestehen und mit einem Ende am Träger(2) befestigt und mit ihrem anderen Ende frei vom Träger(2) abstehen, wobei auf der von den Faserstücken(3) abgewandten Seite des Trägers(2) eine weitgehend feuchtigkeitsundurchlässige Kunststoffolie(4) und ein Flächengebilde(5) aus einem Gewebe, Gewirke od.dgl. Werkstoff aufgebracht sind. <IMAGE>
