[origin: EP0546468A2] Keys (1) are arranged on opposite sides of a display device (2), on a carrier (3). The keys (1) have a w-shaped profile which corresponds with an m-shaped profile of a guide which is integrally formed on the carrier (3). The lateral web (23) of each key (1) acts on a switching dome (13) of a switching mat (12), while in contrast the outer free limb (14) overhangs the others and is positioned at right angles above the carrier (3) as an operating part (8).
