Abstract (en)

This igniter plug for a grenade possesses a system having multiple and independent safety devices, making it possible to obtain an interruption and a misalignment of the primary components of the pyrotechnic chain during storage periods. In use, there is a mechanical delay in the placing of the pyrotechnic chain after the release of the pin (9), and a second mechanical delay for triggering the percussion of the fuse (13). In the event of faulty operation, if the percussion delay is shorter than the delay for placing the pyrotechnic chain, the striker stops the movement of placing the pyrotechnic chain and, in this case, the igniter plug is neutralised. Two concertina devices (28, 29) containing an air volume communicating with the atmosphere by way of a capillary tube (3) define the delays. <IMAGE>

Ce bouchon allumeur pour grenade possède un système à sécurités multiples et indépendantes permettant d'avoir une interruption et un désalignement des composants primaires de la chaine pyrotechnique durant les périodes de stockage. En utilisation, on a un retard mécanique de mise en place de la chaine pyrotechnique après lâcher de la cuiller (9), et un deuxième retard mécanique pour déclencher la percussion de l'amorce (13). En cas de mauvais fonctionnement, si le retard de percussion est plus court que le retard de mise en place de la chaîne pyrotechnique, le percuteur vient arrêter le mouvement de mise en place de la chaîne pyrotechnique et le bouchon allumeur est dans ce cas neutralisé. Deux dispositifs à soufflets (28, 29) renfermant un volume d'air communiquant avec l'atmosphère au travers d'un tube capillaire (3) définissent les retards. <IMAGE>
