[origin: WO9204395A1] Thermosetting compositions including (A) at least one cyanate ester compound essentially consisting of a polyfunctional aromatic cyanic ester having at least two cyanate groups (-O-C=N) bonded to an aromatic core, in a prepolymer derived from said organic ester or in acoprepolymer derived from said cyanic ester and a polyamine; and (B) at least one elastomer essentially consisting of an N,N'-bis-maleimide having a diorganopolysiloxane grouping, in a prepolymer derived from said bismaleimide or in a coprepolymer derived from said bis-maleimide and a diamine. Said thermosetting compositions may further contain an appropriate catalyst and one or more additional polymerizable compounds including in particular a conventional bis-maleimide, an optionally halogenated epoxy resin, an acrylate reagent or an alkenylphenol, and may also be combined with known reinforcing fillers.

La présente invention se rapporte à des compositions thermodurcissables comprenant (A) au moins un composé cyanate ester consistant essentiellement dans un ester cyanique aromatique polyfonctionnel ayant au moins deux groupes cyanates (-O-C=N) liés à un noyau aromatique, dans un prépolymère dérivé dudit ester organique ou dans un coprépolymère dérivé dudit ester cyanique et d'une polyamine et (B) au moins un élastomère consistant essentiellement dans un N,N'-bis-maléimide à groupement diorganopolysiloxane, dans un prépolymère dérivé dudit bis-maléimide ou dans un coprépolymère dérivé dudit bis-maléimide et d'une diamine. Les compositions thermodurcissables conformes à la présente invention peuvent contenir en outre un catalyseur approprié et un ou plusieurs composé(s) additionnel(s) polymérisable(s) incluant notamment un bis-maléimide conventionnel, une résine époxy éventuellement halogénée, un réactif acrylate ou un alkénylphénol et elles peuvent être associées en plus à des charges de renforcement connues.
