[origin: EP0547297A1] Bag-clamping device for the retention of a bag to be filled, especially a side-folding bag, on a filling connection, the bag-clamping device having the following features: a first pair of clamps having respective clamping bodies (15), in order to retain mutually opposite first bag-wall parts on the filling connection, and a second pair of clamps having respective pairs of clamping bodies (25), the pairs of second clamping bodies having first surface parts (26) which are laid against one another in pairs in such a way that bag-wall parts located in front of the end faces are grasped and held in the edge region, and respective second surface parts (27) which are angled relative to these and which are matched with the end faces (3) and to the guide plates of the swung-out spreading flaps (10), in order to retain the remaining free bag-wall parts on the filling connection. <IMAGE>
