Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0547310A1] In a two-temperature household refrigeration apparatus with a single cycle, with an evaporator (15) which has essentially two sections (A, B) and forms a system of continuous refrigerant ducts, and the first section (A) of which, which forms a ceiling (16), an upright wall (17) and a bottom (18) of a freezing compartment (11), is connected upstream of its second section (B) which serves as spatial evaporator in a normal refrigerating compartment (13) arranged below the freezing compartment, the refrigerant supplied into the duct system from the injection point flowing from a supply duct (23) running downwards in the upright wall of the first evaporator section into a duct (27, 28) which is laid in the meander-like bottom of the freezing compartment and which opens into an outlet duct (31) which rises in the upright wall of the first evaporator section and which in the ceiling (16) passes into a duct arrangement (36, 37) which is laid in coils and the outlet of which is connected, with a downwardly directed duct section (38) in the upright wall, to the inlet of the side section forming the spatial evaporator, the supply duct (23) and the outlet duct (31) are connected via a bypass (35) which is arranged at a distance above the bottom of the first evaporator section and which has a raised flow resistance in relation to the bridged duct arrangement. <IMAGE>
