Abstract (en)
A display device comprising a cathode ray tube and a deflection system. The deflection system comprises a line deflection coil system and a field deflection coil system. The field deflection coil is wound from parallel windings (52a and 52b) which are electrically arranged in series. As a result, the natural frequency of the field deflection coil is increased. By virtue thereof, disturbing influences of the horizontal flyback on picture display ("ringing") are reduced. <IMAGE>
