The present invention relates to a protective switch such as a contactor, provided with at least one pole with separable contacts, comprising, on the one hand, a control mechanism (5) capable of bringing about the opening and closing of the contacts (21, 31) and actuatable by a protective means (4) capable of acting in the event of an electrical fault and, on the other hand, a manual control button (6) controlling an electromagnet (7) for operating the contacts, and characterised in that it includes a mobile hatch (11) which opens and closes an opening of the casing so as to allow the changing of the coil of the electromagnet (7) and in that this hatch (81) cooperates with a hatch-locking unit (81) capable of being moved between a closure position where it immobilises, in the closed position, the hatch on the casing and an opening position allowing the opening of the hatch, this hatch-locking unit (81) being associated with means of selective latching (82, 62) capable of immobilising it in the closure position when the manual control button (6) occupies any position other than the off position and of releasing it so that a user may bring it to the opening position allowing the opening of the hatch, when the manual control button (6) occupies the off position. <IMAGE>

La présente invention se rapporte à un appareil interrupteur de protection tel que contacteur-disjoncteur, pourvu d'au moins un pôle à contacts séparables, comprenant d'une part un mécanisme de commande (5) susceptible de provoquer l'ouverture et la fermeture des contacts (21,31) et pouvant être actionné par un moyen de protection (4) susceptible d'agir en cas de défaut électrique et d'autre part un bouton de commande manuelle (6), commandant un électro-aimant (7) de manoeuvre des contacts, et caractérisé par le fait qu'il comporte une trappe mobile (11) ouvrant et fermant une ouverture du boîtier de manière à permettre le changement de bobine de l'électroaimant (7) et que cette trappe (81) coopère avec un organe de verrouillage de trappe (81) susceptible d'être déplacé entre une position de fermeture où il immobilise, en position fermée, la trappe sur le boîtier et une position d'ouverture permettant l'ouverture de la trappe, cet organe de verrouillage de trappe (81) étant associé à des moyens de blocage sélectif (82,62) aptes à l'immobiliser en position de fermeture lorsque le bouton de commande manuelle (6) occupe toutes les positions autres que la position arrêt et à le libérer de manière qu'un utilisateur puisse l'amener en position d'ouverture permettant l'ouverture de la trappe, lorsque le bouton de commande manuelle (6) occupe la position arrêt. <IMAGE>
