[origin: EP0547978A1] Dispensing cap for a fluid or viscous product, intended to be mounted on the neck of a container. It comprises a base part, a mobile lid and an actuation button comprising a mobile tongue. The inward extensions of the tongue (9) of the actuation button (7) consist of flattened branches (10) whose free ends are bevelled; the mobile lid (20) comprises lateral flanges extending from the pivotal axis of the mobile lid, the said flanges comprising at their ends opposite the pivotal axis inclined guidance surfaces which can interact with the ends of the branches (10) of the button; the base part comprises, in the path of displacement of the branches (10), projecting bearing surfaces in the form of ramps, which can deflect the ends of the branches upwards. <IMAGE>
