Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0548008A1] The clamping shank 11 of a tool for impact drilling or chiselling has at least two rotary driving grooves 13, 14, 16, which are never diametrically opposite one another, and at least one locking groove 12. The rotary driving grooves 13, 14, 16 lead into the free end face 17 of the clamping shank 11 in order to be able to axially insert the rotary drivers of a tool chuck into the rotary driving grooves 13, 14, 16. The locking groove 12 is closed at the end which is adjacent to the free end face 17 in order to prevent the tool from being thrown out by the engagement of a locking body of the tool chuck. In order to significantly reduce the wear on the tool shank and tool chuck, the tool clamping shank has an additional rotary driving groove 15 which is diametrically opposite the locking groove 12. For the same reason, a rotary driver is provided opposite the locking body in the case of the tool chuck according to the invention. <IMAGE>
