Abstract (en)
The device can be used in the event that the main drain is at a higher level than the installation of bathroom or kitchen sanitary fittings. Figure 2 represents the device applied to a shower tray R. The device 1 includes in its base a pipe 2 to deliver the water to be drained, pointing upwards with a sharply decreasing cross-section up to an elbow 3 forming a high point, following which a sharp slope 4 follows, of greater cross-section and terminating in the body of a suction pump 5, a miniature float 6 being located upstream of the said elbow 3 in the narrowest section to control an electric switch causing the suction pump to start when the required level for emptying is reached, the said decreasing cross-section creating a venturi effect which, combined with the suction from the pump 5 when operating, ensures complete emptying, even of the very weak flow from a hand shower hardly open, for example, after which the said miniature float returns to a rest position causing the suction pump to stop until a new cycle. <IMAGE>

L'invention a pour objet un dispositif automatique élévateur d'eaux ménagères usées pouvant être utilisé dans le cas où l'égout se trouve à un niveau supérieur à l'installation des appareils sanitaires de salle de bains ou de cuisines. La Figure 2 représente le dispositif appliqué à un bac à douches R. Le dispositif 1 comprend à sa base un conduit 2 d'amenée des eaux à évacuer dirigé vers le haut avec une section nettement décroîssante jusqu'à un coude 3 formant sommet à la suite duquel succède une forte pente 4 de plus grande section et aboutissant au corps d'une pompe d'aspiration 5, un flotteur miniature 6 étant disposé en amont du dit coude 3 dans la section la plus rétrécie pour commander un contact électrique déterminant la mise en action de la pompe d'aspiration lorsque le niveau requis cour la vidange est atteint,la dite section décroîssante déterminant un effet Venturi qui,combiné à l'aspiration de la pompe 5 en fonctionnement,assure une vidange complète même pour le très faible débit d'une douchette à peine ouverte par exemple, après laquelle le dit flotteur miniature revient en position de repos commandant l'arrêt de la pompe d'aspiration jusqu'à un nouveau cycle. <IMAGE>
