[origin: EP0548513A1] The flow-control device for a working fluid has a stop valve (16) in which a seat-valve body (51) is arranged. This seat-valve body interacts with a fixed main valve seat (45). Arranged in the seat-valve body is a pilot-valve member (70) which interacts with a valve seat (61) in the seat-valve body. The seat-valve body is brought to bear against the valve seat by the action of the pressure in a pressure space (68) on one of its end faces. This pressure space (68) is connected to the working cylinder (14) via a choke (67). Via a variable choke point (64, 85), the opening cross-section of which is controlled by the pilot-valve member (70), the pressure in the pressure space (68) and thus the position of the seat-valve body (51) in the stop valve (13) can be influenced by means of the proportional magnet (69) (sequence control). The position of the seat-valve body (51) in the stop valve (12) determines the oil flow from the working cylinder (14) to the tank (11). <IMAGE>
