Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0548719A1] 2.1 The heating system consists essentially of a burner (1), a heating heat exchanger (4) arranged in its outgoing-gas path, and a domestic water heat exchanger (5) connected to the storage vessel (8). In the known heating systems, the burner capacity is in general orientated on the heat requirement for the hot-water production and consequently frequently lies above the heating heat requirement. This leads to the worsening of the overall degree of efficiency and to unnecessarily high energy costs. The aim of the invention is the optimisation of the heat transfer processes to increase the overall degree of efficiency. 2.2 The domestic water heat exchanger (5) is arranged inside the heating heat exchanger (4) and flowed around by the heating water. The domestic water of the layer accumulator (8) to be heated flows through the domestic water heat exchanger (5), the circulation taking place by means of a charging pump (9). The heat exchanger (3), which is designed as a coaxial pipe, is advantageously arranged helically around the cylindrical burner (1). 2.3 Such a heating system makes possible in all modes of operation a utilisation of the condensation heat contained in the waste gas as well as accommodation in a compact appliance unit. <IMAGE>
