Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a process for enhancing the optical appearance of the surface of an object, preferably of a roofing. The invention further relates to an agent for application to the surface of an object, preferably for carrying out the abovementioned process. The object of the invention is to specify a process and an appropriate agent which can be used to impart to any surface, especially to roofing faces made of modern materials, the appearance of a copper face, especially including the patination phenomena. At the same time, the agent according to the invention is to be as inexpensive and easily applicable as possible and, particularly with a view to its use in roofings, should also be resistant to weathering. The object is achieved according to the invention by a process of the abovementioned generic type, the process being notable for the surface being provided with a layer of a coating agent containing proportions of copper which are exposed to oxidation.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Veredelung des optischen Erscheinungsbildes der Oberfläche eines Gegenstandes, vorzugsweise einer Bedachung. Weiter betrifft die Erfindung ein Mittel zum Auftragen auf die Oberfläche eines Gegenstandes, vorzugsweise zur Durchführung des vorgenannten Verfahrens. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Verfahren und ein entsprechendes Mittel anzugeben, mit dem beliebige Oberflächen, insbesondere auch Bedachungsflächen aus modernen Materialien, das Aussehen einer Kupferfläche erhalten können, insbesondere einschließlich der Patinierungserscheinungen. Dabei soll das erfindungsgemäße Mittel möglichst kostengünstig und einfach anzubringen sein und, gerade im Hinblick auf die Verwendung bei Bedachungen, auch witterungsbeständig sein. Die Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß gelöst durch ein Verfahren der eingangs genannten Gattung welches sich dadurch auszeichnet, daß die Oberfläche mit einer Lage eines der Oxidation ausgesetzte Kupferanteile enthaltenden Auftragsmittels versehen wird.
