Device for supporting an overhanging mass (1) connected to a displaceable element (2) on a stationary frame (8) under the effect of thermal expansions or contractions. It comprises a rigid structure (5) supporting the mass (1) connected, by two parallel and equal arms (6, 7) situated at two different heights, to the stationary frame (8), the two arms (6, 7) being articulated at one of their ends at two points (B, C) of the structure (5) and at the other end at two points (D, E) of the stationary frame (8), the rigid support (5) being placed on the displaceable element (2) by means of a connection which slides horizontally (A). Application to collectors of boilers or steam generators. <IMAGE>

Dispositif d'appui sur une charpente fixe (8) d'une masse (1) liée en porte-à-faux à un élément mobile (2) sous l'effet de dilatations ou contactions thermiques. Il comporte un bâti rigide (5) supportant la masse (1) relié, par deux bras (6, 7) parallèles et égaux situés à deux hauteurs différentes à la charpente fixe (8), les deux bras (6, 7) étant articulés à l'une de leurs extrémités en deux points (B, C) du bâti (5) et à l'autre extrémité en deux points (D, E) de la charpente fixe (8),le support rigide posé (5) étant sur l'élément mobile (2) par l'intermédiaire d'une liaison glissante horizontalement (A).
