The invention relates to a modular electrical connection element. It is characterised in that it includes an insulating body including a central region (11) for receiving electrical contact elements (60) and two side branches (12, 13) substantially perpendicular to an axis of the central region (11) and having a width (1) equal to that of the said module, in that each side branch includes, on an outer face (32), a screening element (40) extending over a major part of its surface, a said screening element (40) comprising at least one means (45, 54) for holding in position, in the said insulating body, at least one electrical connection means (43) extending beyond the said insulating body and at least one elastic electrical contact means (46, 48) through at least one corresponding opening (17) of the said side branch (12, 13) emerging onto an inner face (31) of the said side branch (12, 13). <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un élément modulaire de connexion électrique. Il est caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte un corps isolant comportant une région centrale (11) pour recevoir des éléments de contact électrique (60) et deux branches latérales (12, 13) sensiblement perpendiculaires à un axe de la région centrale (11) et présentant une largeur (1) égale à celle dudit module, en ce que chaque branche latérale comporte, sur une face externe (32), un élément de blindage (40) s'étendant sur une majeure partie de sa surface, un dit élément de blindage (40) comprenant au moins un moyen de maintien en position (45, 54) dans ledit corps isolant, au moins un moyen de connexion électrique (43) dépassant dudit corps isolant et au moins un moyen de contact électrique élastique (46, 48) à travers au moins une ouverture correspondante (17) de ladite branche latérale (12, 13) débouchant sur une face interne (31) de ladite branche latérale (12, 13). <IMAGE>
