Consisting of a piece formed from a flattened body (1) with a polygonal contour, having various grooves (2) and several mutually parallel opposite sides (3, 4, 5), capable of being juxtaposed by nesting (fitting) with other identical pieces, completely covering a surface or, alternatively, leaving gaps or spaces free between them in order to make it possible to place a quantity of soil between these gaps which is sufficient for the grass or the lawn to grow therein. The middle of the facing of the piece may include a step (12) which divides it into approximately two halves (13,14); one of these halves (13) may have a rough surface. <IMAGE>

Consistant en une pièce constituée par un corps aplati (1) au contour polygonal, ayant diverses rainures (2) et plusieurs côtés opposés parallèles entre eux (3, 4, 5), susceptible de se juxtaposer en emboîtant avec d'autres pièces identiques en revêtant complètement une surface ou bien en laissant des écarts ou des espaces libres entre elles, pour permettre de mettre une quantité de terre entre ces écarts suffisante pour que l'herbe ou le gazon y pousse. Le milieu du parement de la pièce, peut comporter une marche (12) qui la divise en à peu près deux moitiés (13,14); une de ces moitiés (13) peut avoir une surface rugueuse. <IMAGE>
