[origin: WO9203280A1] The device consists of a rotating hollow roller (10) and a pressure roller (16) running inside it. The inside of the hollow roller has shaped annular grooves (12) with which engage correspondingly shaped annular ribs (18) on the pressure roller (16). Discharge through-holes (14) in the shaped grooves (12) distributed at a predetermined angular distance around the periphery of the roller open through the roller jacket. The hollow roller (10) rotates and thus the pressure roller (16) runs on the inner jacket. The material enters the pressing gap via the product feed pipe (22) and the slots (24) therein and is pressed out through the holes (14). It falls on a cooled conveyor belt (40) by which the pastilles (38) are taken away.
