[origin: WO9205085A1] A closure for a container has two parts, namely an inner sealing member (2) and an outer cap (8). The inner sealing member has a tab (6) extending down between a bottleneck and a depending sidewall of the cap. The tap is folded around the cap wall to form an upwardly extending portion (14). A patch of adhesive (22) secures this tab portion to the cap. This prevents unauthorized removal of the cap and provides visible and external evidence of any tampering.
