Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0550803A1] In order to connect wooden structural parts when renovating a building, the invention proposes that the two wooden structural parts (1, 3) to be connected together are first fixed relative to each other, that in at least one side surface of the two wooden structural parts (1, 3) there is worked, for example milled in, a depression (13) which extends beyond the joint region (7) of the two wooden structural parts and into the same. The base of said depression is located in a common plane in the two wooden structural parts (1, 3) and its depth is greater than the thickness of a connecting lamella (11) which is to be adhesively bonded in a following step. After adhesively bonding the first connecting lamella (11), the depression (13) is widened via the first connecting lamella (11) in a direction away from the joint region (7) such that the widened depression (13) has a planar base which extends in a flush manner via the first connecting lamella (11) and beyond into the two wooden structural parts. A further connecting lamella (11) is adhesively bonded in a sheet-like manner into the widened depression (13), after which the sequence of steps for attaching additional connecting lamellae (11) is repeated if required. <IMAGE>
