[origin: EP0551055A2] For collecting and subsequently stitching printed products which are provided with an overfold and, before stitching, are fed, in a spread state, to a conveying device having receiving spokes arranged transversely to the conveying direction, a process is used in which the printed products are fed individually and with their folds foremost to a plurality of receiving pockets circulating about an approximately horizontal spindle, the printed products being moved in the receiving pockets against a stop and, from the latter, after the overfold is grasped, being pulled out of the receiving pockets, spread and fed to the receiving spokes of the conveying device. <IMAGE>
