[origin: EP0551079A1] A sewerage system for buildings and vehicles, in particular railway carriages, has a unit (1), for example a WC or a kitchen sink, which generates sewage and a conveying path (2) for connecting the unit (1) to a tank (3). In order readily to be able to supply sewage produced to the environment in the form of germ-free water which has been cleaned satisfactorily, the tank (3) has a device (4) for evaporating the sewage and a condensation chamber (5) which is open to the atmosphere. <IMAGE>
