[origin: WO9206028A1] The invention relates to an apparatus for feeding powdery material from a heap of material into a conveyor, comprising a pressure feeder (1) connected to a source of pressure and provided with an inlet (5) for the powdery material and an outlet leading into the conveyor (4); and means (2) for transferring the powdery material from below the apparatus into the inlet (5). To make the operation of the apparatus more efficient, said means (2) comprise a sequence of scoops arranged to move endlessly around the apparatus, and a protective casing (10) positioned on one side of the apparatus for receiving the scoops (9) when they move away from the inlet (5), so that the apparatus is able to dig itself evenly into the heap of material while the scoops (9) transfer material into the inlet (5).

L'invention se rapporte à un dispositif d'alimentation en matériau pulvérulent, servant à véhiculer le matériau entassé vers un convoyeur et comprenant un cylindre d'alimentation (1) relié à une source de pression et pourvu d'une entrée (5) pour le matériau pulvérulent et d'une sortie débouchant dans le convoyeur (4), ainsi que des moyens (2) servant à transférer le matériau pulvérulent depuis la partie inférieure au dispositif vers l'entrée (5). Afin de rendre le fonctionnement du dispositif plus efficace, lesdits moyens (2) comprennent une série de pelles disposées pour effectuer un déplacement sans fin autour du dispositif et un carter de protection (10) placé sur l'un des côtés du dispositif pour recevoir les pelles (9) quand elles s'éloignent de l'entrée (5), afin que le dispositif puisse s'enfoncer de façon régulière dans le matériau entassé tandis que les pelles (9) transportent le matériau vers l'entrée.
