[origin: US5284082A] An ammunition bunker rests against a military tank turret. The bunker's outward-facing walls are scored. The bunker wall facing the crew compartment is unscored. The ammunition stowed in the interior of the bunker points away from the crew compartment. The bunker is a separate and totally enclosed housing. The housing rests in a matching niche in the surface of the turret. One wall of the housing faces the crew compartment at a prescribed distance away from its wall. The roof of the housing consists of a number of separate plates resting in the interstices of a stationary grating. When the stowed ammunition explodes and the explosion increases the pressure inside the housing to a prescribed level, the pressure will break the scored walls apart at the scores, mold the wall of the housing that faces the crew compartment against the crew-compartment wall, and lift the plates out of the interstices in the grating.

Ein Munitionsbunker an einem Kampfpanzerturm (2), der vom Mannschaftsraum (21) durch eine feste Wand (23) getrennt ist und dessen Außenwände (27, 28, 29) durch Sollbruchlinien unterteilt sind. Der Munitionsbunker ist als selbständiges allseitiges Gehäuse (5) ausgebildet, das in eine in ihrer Form an das Gehäuse angepaßte Ausnehmung in der Kontur des Kampfpanzerturms (2) eingesetzt ist. Die der festen Wand (23) des Mannschaftsraums (21) zugewandte Gehäusewand (12) ist in einem vorgegebenen Abstand von der festen Wand (23) angeordnet und wird bei einem vorgegebenen Druckanstieg im Innenraum (22) des Gehäuses (5) unter Verformung auf die feste Wand (23) aufgepreßt. Die Deckenplatte (32) des Gehäuses (5) ist aus einer Vielzahl von nebeneinander in einem festen gitterartigen Rahmen (10) angeordneten Plattenelementen (11) aufgebaut, die in dem Rahmen nach außen ausblasbar gehaltert sind. <IMAGE>
