In an axial cyclone combustion chamber (1) for burning solid fuels in a rotary flow field with an essentially conical lower part (15) and a cylindrical upper part (13), an ash-removal opening (23) at the lower end of the lower part and a central waste-gas off-take opening in the top of the upper part, as well as at least one fuel supply and at least one air supply, it is envisaged, to simplify its construction, that at least one tangential air supply (8; 20a-20d; 36a-36b) is provided. <IMAGE>

Bei einem Axialzyklon-Verbrennungsreaktor (1) zum Verbrennen von festen Brennstoffen in einem Drehströmungsfeld mit einem im wesentlichen konischen Unterteil (15) und einem zylindrischen Oberteil (13), einer Ascheabzugsöffnung (23) am unteren Ende des Unterteiles und einer mittigen Abgasabzugsöffnung in der Decke des Oberteiles, sowie mindestens einer Brennstoffzuführung und mindestens einer Luftzuführung ist zur Vereinfachung seines Aufbaues vorgesehen, daß mindestens eine tangentiale Luftzuführung (8; 20a-20d; 36a-36b) vorgesehen ist. <IMAGE>
