Abutment device for a starter pinion shifting arrangement for an internal combustion engine in particular including a drive shaft (34), on which there may slide a starter pinion (10) secured to a free wheel (18) and a drive sleeve (24) by a cap (26), the starter pinion (10) having, over its entire length, a bore (40) inside which there moves the drive shaft (34), a stop spring clip (66) being set into a semicylindrical groove (64) made in the bore (40), the said stop spring clip (66) interacting with a ring (58) fixed onto the end of the drive shaft (34). <IMAGE>

Dispositif de butée pour lanceur de démarreur pour moteur à combustion interne comportant notamment un arbre moteur (34), sur lequel peut coulisser un pignon lanceur (10) solidaire d'une roue libre (18) et d'une douille d'entraînement (24) par un capot (26), le pignon lanceur (10) présentant sur la totalité de sa longueur un alésage (40) à l'intérieur duquel se déplace l'arbre moteur (34), un jonc d'arrêt (66) étant encastré dans une gorge semi-cylindrique (64) ménagée dans l'alésage (40), ledit jonc d'arrêt (66) coopérant avec une bague (58) fixée sur l'extrémité de l'arbre moteur (34). <IMAGE>
