The present invention relates to a device for spraying a liquid, particularly a liquid fuel in a burner, of a type comprising a rotary head (8) for centrifuging the liquid, driven rotationally by action of a gas, in particular of the combustion air, on blades (14) which are integral with it. The centrifuged liquid escapes from the centrifuging head (8) via a radially external periphery (12) of the latter which is situated upstream of the blades (14) with reference to a direction (13) of blowing of the gas, in a zone of high pressure of the latter, and offset radially in relation to a radially external periphery (47) of the blades (14). In the case of a burner, any propagation of the flame as far as the centrifuging head is avoided, which makes it possible to avoid soiling of the centrifuging head (8), and the choice of the respective diameters of the radially external periphery of the blades and of that of the centrifuging head can be optimised. <IMAGE>

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de pulvérisation d'un liquide, notamment d'un combustible liquide dans un brûleur, d'un type comportant une tête rotative (8) de centrifugation du liquide, entraînée en rotation par action d'un gaz, notamment de l'air de combustion, sur des pales (14) qui en sont solidaires. Le liquide centrifugé s'échappe de la tête de centrifugation (8) par une périphérie radialement extérieure (12) de celle-ci, laquelle est située en amont des pales (14) en référence à un sens (13) de soufflage du gaz, dans une zone haute pression de celui-ci, et en retrait radial par rapport à une périphérie radialement extérieure (47) des pales (14). Dans le cas d'un brûleur, toute propagation de la flamme jusqu'à la tête de centrifugation est évitée, ce qui permet d'éviter l'encrassement de la tête de centrifugation (8) et le choix des diamètres respectifs de la périphérie radialement extérieure des pales et de celle de la tête de centrifugation peut être optimisé. <IMAGE>
