Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0552502A2] Control unit for operating lifting devices to raise a mattress frame at the head and/or foot, the aim being to provide current for a motor (MK) at the head end from a DC voltage source via a lift probe (THK) at the head end and a drop probe (TSK) at the head end, and to provide current for a motor (MF) at the foot end via a lift probe (THF) at the foot end and a drop probe (TSF) at the foot end, the two motors (MK, MF) having a common return conductor connection. For the purpose of fail-safe control, there is arranged in the supply lead of the motor (MK) at the head end a head-down end contact (EUK) and in the supply lead of the motor (MF) at the foot end a foot-down end contact (EUF), which in each case are arranged to be operated before a rolling position of the bed frame (BG) is reached, and a break contact (SR) of a lock switch (SS) is connected in a bridging fashion on the key side between these motor supply leads and these motor supply leads are led on the motor side, decoupled from one another, to a make contact (SA) of the lock switch (SS) which when switched bridges the two end contacts (EUF, EUK). <IMAGE>
