[origin: EP0552590A1] Orthopaedic shoe with a flat bottom (underlay) (2) and a plantar sole (3) equipped with a silicone insert element (1), fixed between the bottom (underlay) (2) and the plantar sole (3), which extends from the heel (7) towards the toe of the shoe up to the end of the sole of the foot, this insert element, in correspondence with the heel (7), consisting of a sector (8) embedded in the heel and with the plane upper base, in which sector is provided an annular cavity (4) which is open towards the top in order to delimit a flexible inner body (5) for supporting the calcaneum (calcaneus, heel bone) (9) and, in correspondence with the central part of the bottom (underlay), consisting of two longitudinal reliefs (6, 60) placed, respectively, along the inner and outer sides of the shoe for supporting the sole of the foot. <IMAGE>
